YesBC!
Youth for Environmental Stewardship
YesBC (Youth for Environmental Stewardship), an innovative youth leadership program established as a non-profit society in 2008, aims to give young people meaningful, direct involvement in sustainability initiatives. YesBC provides opportunities for youth to gain confidence, knowledge and effective tools to carry out their roles as environmental stewards and powerful change agents. By creating their own environmental awareness campaigns and sustainability projects, youth commit to permanent attitude and behavioural changes. They are empowered by the influence they can have on others: their peers, younger students, their families, communities and as part of the global network of change.
