What does YesBC provide for youth?

  • Environmental leadership training and project support
     
  • Ongoing support for students e.g. resource materials, project planning and execution throughout school year
     
  • Access to network of environmental organizations local, regional, national and global
     
  • Participation in tree planting or other land stewardship projects
     
  • Training in how to plan and execute an awareness campaign
     
  • Access to collaborators (including media partners) that will support opportunities for students to have their voices heard
     
  • Connection to other schools in other districts for planning district/regional events
     
  • Al Gore’s Climate Reality Project Canada climate presentations
     
  • Mentoring, training and leadership opportunities with peers, younger students and community
