What does YesBC provide for youth?
- Environmental leadership training and project support
- Ongoing support for students e.g. resource materials, project planning and execution throughout school year
- Access to network of environmental organizations local, regional, national and global
- Participation in tree planting or other land stewardship projects
- Training in how to plan and execute an awareness campaign
- Access to collaborators (including media partners) that will support opportunities for students to have their voices heard
- Connection to other schools in other districts for planning district/regional events
- Al Gore’s Climate Reality Project Canada climate presentations
- Mentoring, training and leadership opportunities with peers, younger students and community
